FOXO4
FOXO4 (also designated FOXO4-DRI) is a D-amino acid retro-inverso peptide designed to mimic the FOXO4 interaction domain that sequesters p53 within senescent cells. By competitively displacing the endogenous FOXO4-p53 complex, the peptide triggers apoptosis selectively in p21-high senescent cells in preclinical culture models. It has become a standard tool compound in cellular senescence research and senolytic mechanism studies. Supplied lyophilized for in vitro research use only.
